Promote Cycling

This ‘Cyclingoldcoast’ publication is designed for the reason that cycling on the Gold Coast is not pro actively promoted enough as a regular method of transportation. Because of Gold Coasts rapid population growth and age median, promoting this method of transportation is deemed to be viable and will help ease road congestion also. Also this city has a high influx of tourism and with this in mind; there is a possible window of opportunity to encourage cycling as tourist activity.

This publication is predominantly focused on the lack of attention paid by the Bicycle Queensland Inc for not pro actively encouraging this fantastic way to travel in terms of research and promotional implementation on the Gold Coast. However, the visitors to this site will benefit because it highlights the low impact and high cardiovascular benefits.

Ultimately, the most important aspect to consider when addressing this concern is the road safety. The next section demonstrates two dangerous areas by the means of video footage around Southport, taken on 17th September, 2007.

  1. gIt is good to see someone promote problem areas to those who are concerned, especially to those who can address the issue and work to fix or alleviate them.

You are on the right track. Consider adding some positive spin to re-inforce cycling as an acitivuty for everyone who can walk, and breathe at the same time.
The benefits are huge to our communities from increased utility and commuting cycling.
This site can create a link that can draw together the benefits utility, recreational and tourism cycling offer the Gold Coast.

Good wishes for a successful venture into promoting more community cycling on the Gold Coast.
